About ODM Inc.
The name of the organization shall be Oromo Diaspora Media (ODM Inc). It shall be a non profit organization incorporated under the laws of the State of Minnesota (Chapter 317 A Nonprofit Corporations).
Purpose
Oromo Diaspora Media (ODM Inc.) is a Non-Profit organized exclusively for charitable, scientific and education purposes within the meaning of section 501 ( c) (3).
It is an independent, nonpartisan and nonprofit news organization whose purpose is:
- To report on the wholesale livelihood engagement of the Oromo (Ethiopia) diaspora members in Minnesota and beyond.
- To provide a media platform for professionals to inform, teach and coach the Oromo community in diaspora in subjects such as health, education, politics and economy.
- To increase awareness among the society about the livelihood and unique socio- economic needs of the East African Refugees and Immigrants.
